I don’t exactly remember what actually happened at Sephora 2 weeks back, but somehow I ended up getting this setting powder by Fenty Beauty. Considering I have been using Ben Nye for 5 years, that was pretty risky.
FENTY BEAUTY by Rihanna Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Setting Powder comes in a hexagon jar with a very pretty lid. There are total of 8 shades. The texture of the powder is very fine and silky. And the quantity is pretty enough.
I am surprisingly impressed by the results! The texture is very adaptable, and And the best part is the shade, their banana is not too yellow, which is a plus point in my view. The finish is smooth, not cakey or dry and doesn’t give that too made up look. Over the last week, I’ve tested it on during day time and evening and it did stay for longer time. Also, it helped me with those irritating sunglasses marks on the nose.
The main reason Fenty Beauty’s formula is lighter but more effective is because of one of the third ingredients in this powder is Squalane, it’s a great hydrating source.
