21 Reasons to Love Rome

Natale Di Roma!!! Rome was’nt built in a Day! But it was founded on April 21st. i share my Birthday with this eternal city. Well i am not sure if it is a co incidence or destiny, but i have so many things to relate with this Roman Capital. i was nicknamed after John Keat’s muse Fanny Brown and keats spent his last days in Rome, also he is buried there. Apart from these facts there are coutless ways this city has captured my Heart and soul. I could probably go on and write a book on it, but here 21 reasons why I love Rome!

1: we share same birthday!

2: its a hub of renaissance art and ancient history and both are my favorite

3: charming and welcoming locals, they make you feel comfortable

4: Rome is birthplace of of favorite pasta “Alfredo”

5: Vatican musuem, i can spent days….and never get bored

6: st.peter’s basilica, so comforting

7: square pizzas, something you can never find anywhere

8: gorgeous piazzas like piazza navona

9: gelatos!! Not just one, countless amazing places to try

10: warmth of those terracotta buildings

11: river tiber, one of the most important and glorious river in europe

12: cobblestone roads, walk on them and you will feel like embracing history with each step

13: italian coffee shops. Always smells heavenly and perfect spots for hanging around

14: small tarratorias. Touristy or non touristy these tarratories are soul of Rome’s food scene

15: colosseum, wonder of the world, no introduction required

16: lovely sights of smiling nuns. Just looking at them can make your day happier.

17: lively nightlife. Unbeatable!

18: baroque roman architect and art

19: mixed vibes of nostalgia and grandeur

20: areas like campo di fiori and trastevere

21: bakeries, and all those delish roman delicacies

The essence of Rome is everywhere, at every turn of those cobblestone streets. All you have to do is, discover, somewhere between all this hustle bustle.
